Grupo Aire appoints Zigor Gaubeca as new CIO and Joan Aniorte as new CTO
Grupo Aire has announced the appointment of Zigor Gaubeca as the new Chief Tech Strategy & Innovation Officer (CIO). His previous role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be filled by Joan Aniorte, the former Co-CTO. With these two appointments, the company continues its transformation process by strengthening its leadership.
Gaubeca becomes the first Director of Tech Strategy and Innovation at Grupo Aire, with the aim of continuing the growth and technological evolution of a leading and cutting-edge telecommunications company at both the national and international levels. After 17 years with the company, his extensive experience will be crucial in achieving the proposed objectives, which include the analysis of new technologies, suppliers, and methodologies that drive new development and innovation strategies.
On the other hand, Joan Aniorte takes over the Technology Department, focusing on improving team efficiency and leading initiatives within the Transformation Plan intrinsic to this area. Trained as a telecommunications engineer with a long career within the company, Aniorte will work closely with Zigor to integrate new technological innovations and methods within the sector.
The appointment of both individuals will drive this new phase of growth for Grupo Aire, consolidating a solid leadership team based on professionals committed to the future of technology and aligned with objectives that seek to enhance the growth of the various operators, partners, and companies that rely on the company.
For Raúl Aledo, CEO of the group:
Our leadership position depends on the union of forces and the joint work of a great human team that shares our values and mission. That’s why the appointment of Aniorte and Gaubeca is important in creating leadership that drives change.
