– Grupo Aire announces the appointment of Santi Magazù as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Ángel Blancas as Chief Product Officer (CPO). With these two new incorporations, the group adds to its board of directors two professionals with a long trajectory, a solid career in the technology field and extensive experience in leading companies in the sector.

Ángel Blancas has a management-level career spanning more than 30 years in companies like Grupo SIA (Indra), where he led the Managed Services and Cloud Computing area as Senior Director; Colt Technology, where he was Regional General Manager in Spain and Portugal. Other companies in the technology sector where he has worked at are:  T-Systems Iberia, Dell Computer, Getronics and Sun Microsystems (Oracle). He recently held the position of Regional Director at Claranet.

The new CPO of Grupo Aire studied Telecommunications Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and has a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Universidad Internacional de Valencia. He joins Grupo Aire to support the Product definition and strategy.

As for Santi Magazù, he has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT services sector. He has held management positions in multinational companies like Telefónica, where he held several positions like IT Service Engineering Director in Spain and Cloud Computing Commercial Director at group level. He has also worked as Marketing Director for the regional operator Grapes, and as CEO and COO in technology startups like PlayGiga, the first company acquired by Facebook in Spain. He started his career as a strategy consultant in Monitor Co., currently owned by Deloitte.

Regarding his educational background, he studied Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and has an MBA from INSEAD (France).

At Grupo Aire he takes the position of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), assuming responsibilities over the Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations and Customer Support areas.
